There are so many lovely dress sewing patterns around at the moment, I feel spoiled for choice and don’t know which one to try next. Here are just a few of my favourites I thought I would share, perhaps you have already used some of them or have also been dying to try one out too.

Victory Patterns – Sofia Dress and Top
Featuring an elasticated, shirred bodice that allows for easy fit and wear. Choose from three garment styles along with several sleeve options, which can be mixed and matched to create several looks. The dress features a waist-length bodice and an A-line skirt with optional pockets and lining. Two top options are also included, allowing you to make a crop with a small ruffle hem, or a peplum top with a larger ruffle hem.

Pattern Fantastique - Vali Dress and Top
The high neckline is surrounded by sleeve and yoke gathers. Volumes of fabric, fine ties, topstitched facings and pocket bags will transform the simplest of materials into a romantic, textured and detailed dress or top. The Vali has two neckline options, the standard neckline and a drop neckline, for those who prefer a plunge or need a little more breastfeeding access.

Choose between a puffy bell sleeve with an elasticated hem, or a wide flared sleeve. Make your dress with the straight-cut body, or add the extra-long wrap-around ties to cinch in at your waist. You have the same options for the top, but you can also add an elasticated hem to turn your Array into a cute jumper.

MARSHA STYLE - CORTNEY TOP AND DRESS
Cortney Top and Dress has all that puff sleeve goodness we are loving right now. The pattern comes with two sleeve options, one with pleats at the sleeve head and the other with no pleats or gathers at the sleeve head. The sleeve is designed to be off the shoulder and may require an adjustment if you prefer your sleeve to sit on the shoulder. The sleeve opening is voluminous and finished with an elastic casing. Cortney has a band collar and a wide, long front placket that can be buttoned closed or worn open to create a deep V.

Just Patterns – Helena Wrap Dress
Helena is a breezy wrap dress with a hint of tailoring. It features a deep V-neck and a built-in waistband that extends into wide belt ties to wrap around the waist and cinch the silhouette for an effortlessly elegant effect.
It has a relaxed fit through the bust and hips. Shaping is achieved with pleats in the front and back bodice and soft gathers in the skirt. The neckband is grown on the front bodice. The dolman sleeves are finished by wide sleeve bands to balance the silhouette
The pattern includes two pocket options: practical and discreet inseam pockets or large patch pockets for a casual tone.
