‘Had the most wonderful couple of hours with fellow guiders celebrating Rachel's upcoming wedding. Our theme for the day was 'mad hatter's tea party' so had arranged with Alison from Ministry of Craft to have a session making fascinators to wear for the rest of the day.
Jeanette, our fabulous tutor, was excellent, easy to understand and provided help where needed. We had a lovely relaxed session, making (surprisingly) good headgear, but Rachel's (as usual) was the best.
If your looking for something a little different to celebrate in any way - or just because you fancy doing something a little crafty and different, I would highly recommend Ministry of Craft.’

Caroline the tutor was great and really made the class fun and easy to achieve fantastic paper flowers which we made into broaches for our evening out! A very enjoyable class. Alison and Jeanette helped to ensure that the Hen Do I was organising for my sister was a complete hoot! Nobody in the class was particularly handy, however Jeanette ensured that this didn't matter and that everyone had the best time! We left the workshop with great fascinators that we can't wait to wear at the wedding of the year.
Everything was set-up prior to our arrival so we just had to focus on being creative!!!! Our time with Ministry of Craft ensured that the start of our Hen weekend got off fantastically well and was a great way for all the girls to meet each other.’

‘We had a wonderful time at our hen party bunting making class this weekend!!
Our instructor Jeanette was absolutely fantastic and she made the session really enjoyable. Most of us were complete beginners, but by the end we felt comfortable using the sewing machines, thanks to her patience and expertise!
We managed to make a lot more bunting than we thought would be possible in the time, as we were only a small group of 6, but we made so much!
The bunting is going to look beautiful at the wedding in a couple of months time, Thank you so much!’

‘I spent an afternoon with my friends at the Ministry of Craft and had the best time! The tutors were friendly, funny and clearly very knowledgeable. The learning was fun and and despite being someone who can barely sew a button on a shirt I came out of my afternoon with a fascinator which I have since worn to a wedding!
A really lovely time was had by all! Book yourself in! Learn something new!’

‘We had such a great time. Sam, our teacher was brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Her explanations of how to do things were very clear and she struck the right balance between making the class fun whilst giving us enough instruction to be able to make some really impressive fascinators – hopefully we’ll be seeing some of them again at the wedding!
We also liked the fact that there were enough materials and freedom to use what we wanted so that we were able to be creative and everyone managed to make something really different and personal. I’ve been to some things before where you get one of each item and you’re taught how to assemble it and the only real choice/creative input is the colour you use – this was nothing like that and that made it totally brilliant.
Also wanted to say that organising this event was so easy. Another Sam replied to all of my emails straight away and I felt really confident that it was going to be a great activity even before we got there.’

‘Booking Ministry of Craft for my sister’s hen do was perfect! There was a great selection to choose from for things to make, and booking the party in was incredibly easy, with great contact and advice from the staff! We were a group of a variety of crafting ability, but everyone had such a brilliant afternoon! The sessions are well organised and well structured, with lots of laughter and some great memories – it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
