Zip and Button Cushion Covers

£70.00

If you’re looking for finishing touches to complete your home decor or a beginner sewing project to try, why not learn how to make your own cushions? Using fabrics of your choice (see ‘What to Bring’), learn how to sew an envelope style and zipped cushion cover with Alison Leese, expert seamstress and owner of Ministry of Craft.

After cutting out your fabric, learn how to thread a sewing machine, discover the secrets of seam guides to create seams and zig-zag stitch to stop fraying edges. With this under your belt you’ll be ready to take on a zip, make buttonholes and sew your buttons on using the sewing machine.

By the end of the session, you’ll not only have two beautiful cushions covers to add to your home but some new sewing skills to move onto your next project.

If the date you require is sold out, contact us with the workshop name and date, so we can let you know if a place becomes available or when the new date goes on sale.

Our workshops are non-refundable and can only be changed to an alternative date with 14 days’ notice, so please make sure you’ve checked your diary carefully before booking. Please see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
