Discover simple tricks and tips to make installing zips seamless. Starting with a regular zip before moving onto the elusive invisible ones, introducing you to the essential tools that’ll have you zipping up with confidence!
Then button up like a pro! Master how to finish your projects and garments with a one step automatic buttonhole, learn about the best direction and placement along with some invaluable troubleshooting tips. Then use the sewing machine to speedily sew on a button so you’ll never have to hand-sew on a button again!
Leave the session with samples of your skills and ready to put your sewing machine into action!

As this is not a beginner’s workshop, you must already have some experience on a sewing machine or have attended one of our Beginner sewing workshops.
All materials and equipment are supplied for this workshop and are included in the price.
Tea and coffee will be available at the workshop and you are welcome to bring along your own refreshments.
Our sponsors, Janome, supply computerised sewing machines (5060 QDC) and where required overlockers (6234XL). Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring along your own machines.
