So first an apology! I have garments to share from February that I just haven't found the time to photograph them but I assure you they will be with you forthwith. This month we've each picked a pattern that's caught our eye over the last few weeks. They are (due to our own time restrictions!) patterns for the future. I don't know about you but I currently have a long list of 'future' projects. Hopefully I'll be able to find the time to complete my pattern pick in the near future!

I have picked this gorgeous new release from Grainline, the Driftless Cardigan. Personally I'm a bit of a scruff and I wear the same cardigan nearly everyday, it's bobbly and well worn and so when I saw this pattern I was like - that's my cardigan! It's a very similar shape and as always grainline's styling is aspirational.

I think this will be rocketing up my 'must make' chart. I'll be keeping an eye out for some super soft knit fabric to make it with.

Alison's pick is the gorgeous Lisette dress (B6168) by Butterick. This dress has some really interesting details and Alison especially loved the neckline. She's too busy sewing samples of an upcoming photoshoot to fit this pattern in but hopefully she'll get round to it in the future as it really is a lovely dress.

Remember you can join us for Sew Social and sew up a pattern of your choice, the next one is on the 22nd of May and we can't wait to see what beautiful things will be made
