Alison Leese
As well as being one of our busiest sewing tutors, Alison is also the owner of Ministry of Craft.
After Studying Clothing Design & Production Management at Manchester Metropolitan Alison worked in the fashion industry with well-known brands such as Boden, Laura Ashley, & Bench and then moved into event merchandising for major brands such as UEFA, the Commonwealth Games and Liverpool Capital of Culture.
As a fully qualified teacher of textiles, Alison is an expert seamstress and is constantly devising new and exciting courses for her ever increasing army of Ministry of Craft devotees. If she’s not sewing in our classrooms, sewing at one of our satellite venues or sewing in her home studio, then she can be found enjoying a bit of family time with her 2 sons, Thomas and Leo.
