Short, sweet and simple printing techniques don’t come much better than linocut printing.

Take some time out with printmaker Nell Smith to learn the art of lino-cutting and make your own cards and prints to keep for yourself or as a gift for someone. Under Nell's tuition, you will learn how to design and carve your very own lino block!

Based at The Manchester Craft and Design Centre in the heart of the Northern Quarter, you’ll find like-minded classmates; expert tutors and the Oak St. Cafe Bar to grab a cappuccino before your class starts!

This fun workshop is ideal if you’re stuck for gift ideas or are looking for new hobby that you can do at the kitchen table!

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills. Some drawing or design skills would be an added bonus, but not essential as Nell will be on hand to assist with design advice and inspiration.
