Are you a Zip-a-phobic? We’ll show you how to take the challenge out of sewing zips by sharing simple tricks and tips that will give you the confidence to tackle zips head on!

Based at Bamber Sewing Machines, you’ll find like-minded classmates; expert tutors and all the fabrics, trims, patterns and sewing tools you could wish for (plus sewing machines and overlockers for those wishing to invest heavier)!

You’ll start by learning how to insert both a regular and invisible zip and the tools to use to make it as simple as possible. Then button up with confidence! Master how to finish your projects and garments with a one step automatic buttonhole.  Leave the session with samples and ready to put your sewing machine into action!

As this is not a beginner’s workshop, you must already have some experience on a sewing machine or have attended one of our Beginner sewing workshops.

Ministry of Craft customers get 10% discount on the wide range of fabrics, haberdashery and sewing patterns at Bamber Sewing Machines and there are various discounts available on their sewing machines and overlockers. Discount codes and other offers from our other crafty friends will be emailed with your booking confirmation.

If the above date is not suitable or sold out, please have a look at our alternative dates or contact us with the course name and we will get in touch if a place becomes available or when the next date goes on sale.
