Sew by the hour

Whether you need a creative haven to work in, want to try a sewing machine before you buy or have simply been putting off adding the finishing touches to that ‘very nearly there’ sewing project - we’ve got a solution!

We’ll be providing three different models of Janome sewing machines for individual hire by the hour, which includes:
- As much tea or coffee as you can drink
- Access to the latest sewing and craft books and magazines
- Free use of a sewing machine bobbin

All you need to do is bring along a project or some fabric and cotton to try out your skills.

One of our course assistants will be available to assist with any problems, but you must already be confident in:
- Threading a machine
- Filling a bobbin
- Sewing stitches

Instructions for our three different sewing machines will be provided.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK ONE HOUR:

- Click on date required
- Leave ‘Number of attendees’ as 1
- Enter the name of the person attending in the ‘Attendee name’ box
- Select ‘Add to cart’
- Select ‘Checkout’
- Type the hour you want to hire the machine for in the ‘Add comments about your order’ box e.g. 13.00 - 14.00
- Then continue with your payment

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK MULTIPLE HOURS:

- Click on date required
- Leave ‘Number of attendees’ as 1
- Enter the name of the person attending in the ‘Attendee name’ box
- Select ‘Add to cart’
- Change ‘Qty’ to the number of hours you want for hire e.g. 2 if want the machine from 13.00 to 15.00
- Select ‘Update cart’
- Select ‘Checkout’
- Type the hours you want to hire the machine for in the ‘Add comments about your order’ box e.g. 13.00 - 14.00, 14.00 - 15.00
- Then continue with your payment
