Why not bring colour and charm to everyday items by learning to master the basics of contemporary hand embroidery? Not only is it one of the most relaxing hobbies you can take up, but also won’t break the bank.

In this stress free course we’ll teach you up to seven clever, but simple embroidery stitches and you’ll then use these to embellish and personalise a teacup design onto a cotton tea towel.

We’ll provide all the equipment including a gorgeous range of coloured threads for you to play with and a template for your teacup! Before you know it you’ll be sewing your cares away, breathing new life into anything from pillowcases and cushion covers to shopping bags and shirts….

Skills at a glance: Learn up to seven embroidery stitches including: running, split, fly, lazy daisy and spider rose (using ribbon). Also learn couching and French knots.
