With photography tutor Rik Sterken on hand for advice and guidance, work within a number of pre-set themed topics to focus and improve your creative ‘photographers eye’.

Starting with a discussion on how to create the best shots, go on to explore the industrial grandeur of Castlefield and train your gaze on buildings, architecture, people and urban landscapes - shooting your piece of Manchester history.

This session is ideal whether you’re just starting out in manual mode or are looking to focus on previous skills, working on new topics.

Need to know: Bring along your digital or film camera and tripod (the later is not essential). It is important that you have some understanding of using the functions and features of your camera although it is not essential that you can use it in full manual mode.
