Emma-Lee is certainly a worthy Ministry Makes winner, on a roll; she went home and made this amazing cat eye dress straight after attending our Stretch Top workshop in the morning. We talked about how the top could easily be converted into a dress by increasing the length of the bottom band and whoosh…..she was off to make it that same afternoon!

Emma-Lee has now attended many workshops at Ministry of Craft, she made the lovely pink dress at our Fit n Flare workshop. The developing workshops (piping and bias binding, step up your skills, clothing alterations, overlocking) have given her the skill and knowledge to go and home and create more masterpieces!

She is also slowly making her way through our bodice, trousers and skirt pattern cutting workshops to be able to create her own perfectly fitting patterns and garments, there is definitely no stopping her!

I am sure you will agree, all great achievements to celebrate International Woman’s Day!

A six-month subscription to Love Sewing Magazine is on the way Emma-Lee and look forward to seeing you on Saturday for Doris Dress.
