What have you all been sewing lately? Here's a little update on my sewing adventures!
I hadn’t made anything with a raglan sleeve for a while and with some better weather around the corner (I hope), I wanted to try out a new spring fabric, Cotton Millefleur in Burnt sienna (http://www.ministryofcraft.co.uk/shop/fabric/fcotton-cotton-millefleur-in), from Dashwood Studio.
A raglan sleeve is a type of sleeve whos ..
Emma-Lee is certainly a worthy Ministry Makes winner, on a roll; she went home and made this amazing cat eye dress straight after attending our Stretch Top (http://www.ministryofcraft.co.uk/workshops/sewing-dressmaking/dressmaking/d170408-sew-your-own-stretch-batwing-top) workshop in the morning. We talked about how the top could easily be converted into a dress by increasing the length of the bottom band and whoosh…..she was off to make it that same afternoon!
I love the course it was my first one and I actually made a purse, so proud of it. The tutor was really patient and was a true professional but friendly.
I'm looking forward towards my second course next month. Thank you I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you for a great day which was most enjoyable and very helpful. I can't wait to get going on my machine now. I've been enthusing about it to my daughter
and daughter in law who were most impressed with my proudly displayed 'makes'.
Just attended the conquer my sewing machine course, really enjoyed it, tutor was very helpful, can't wait to get some practice in and finally put my machine
to use, will definitely be doing more courses, no stopping me now!!!
