What have you all been sewing lately? Here's a little update on my sewing adventures!
In preparaion for a new wrap around skirt workshop, I made this skirt using fabric from Dashwood Studios, Cotton Meadow in Navy (http://www.ministryofcraft.co.uk/shop/fabric/fcotton-cotton-meadow-in-navy). MINISTRYMAKES WINNER - DECEMBER
Sarah certainly has the sewing bug since attending our 4-week Introduction to Sewing course in Chorlton. On completion, she moved onto our 4-week Develop your Sewing Skills course and also our A-line skirt workshop at Fred Aldous where she made the amazing cord skirt.
She needed to take up some Ikea curtains which was her initial reason for enrolling onto our introductory course so she used the cut off curtain fabric to make this black and white c ..
I love the course it was my first one and I actually made a purse, so proud of it. The tutor was really patient and was a true professional but friendly.
I'm looking forward towards my second course next month. Thank you I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just attended the conquer my sewing machine course, really enjoyed it, tutor was very helpful, can't wait to get some practice in and finally put my machine
to use, will definitely be doing more courses, no stopping me now!!!
