BOOK REVIEW BY CAROLINE COATES
Knitted Animal Cozies: 35 wooly creatures to keep warm by Fiona Goble
Anyone who knows me, knows I love messing about with knitting and the dafter the project the happier I am.....no lacy cardigans for me. So this book, with everything from caterpillar lip-balm covers to a whale phone cover is my kind of book.
I love the creations in this book and can't wait to make more, I think the salamander pencil case next!
This book includes great illustrations to remind you of stitches and with easy to follow instructions this book is great for new knitters, particularly
those beginning to read patterns. For more experienced knitters, what can I say, if you haven't got a Racoon tablet case, you clearly need to get
hold of this book too.
It has some lovely ideas and the patterns are easily adapted, use this for some great ideas and make changes to create your own projects.
It is a great book for people wanting quick projects that can be completed in an evening with well written, clear instructions (one typo but find me a knitting book that hasn't). I love this book and a lot of family and friends will be getting cozies for Christmas.
