We’re thrilled to have a feature on Ministry of Craft in January’s Making magazine.

Launched just last year, Making magazine is filling a gap in the market covering not only traditional and contemporary crafts, but it covers tools, equipment alongside in depth articles with new and revered crafters and makers.

We love the focus on different topics (vintage, Christmas, etc) and in this months lighting issue featured our very own Jane Blease and her step by step guide on how to make a fabric covered lampshade as featured in our Let there be lights course (running in March 2011).

Jane’s expertise is in creating beautiful veneer lampshades, which she sells in her shop at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre is also included in our course, so you leave the course with not just one shade but two!
