Why not spend a Saturday trying your hand at something completely different and master 3 different and stunningly simple print techniques?

Nell Smith, print designer will take you step-by-step through mono printing using your own design and simple inks onto a variety of papers, screen printing a t-shirt or a piece of fabric of your choice and lino printing, using an image cut from lino blocks, to print onto a garment or even a pillow case.

This fun workshop is ideal if you’re stuck for gift ideas, just want to brighten up everyday household objects or want to create a masterpiece good enough to hang on your wall!

Make and Take: Mono print onto paper, screen printed item of your choice with your own design and a lino printed item of your choice

Skills at a glance: Basic mono, screen and lino printing techniques and stencil and image design skills

Tutor: Nell Smith

Need to know: Please being your own t-shirt to be screen printed and should you want to a pillow case or alternative garment to print onto. We will be providing both black, white and calico cotton for you to use, if required. Some drawing or design skills would be an added bonus, but not essential as Nell will be on hand to assist with design advice and inspiration. Feel free to bring along any images that you would like to copy or take inspiration from.

There will be a 30 minutes lunch break. Please bring along your own lunch.
