It’s hot on the high street and the catwalk and now you can get completely hooked!

Learn to crochet will give you all the basic skills you need to go home and crochet on your own, including basic stitches, crocheting a square and a circle, how to follow a pattern and mixing coloured yarns, amongst a whole host of other techniques, hints and tips. You’ll put all your efforts from sessions 1 and 2 to good use by crocheting a flower brooch – ready to wear – by the end of the final session.

Make and Take: Samples of all of the techniques learnt, your flower brooch and your crochet hook!

Skills at a glance: Basic stitches, how to handle the yarn, understanding pattern symbols, single and double crochet stitches and forming squares and circles.

Need to know: All materials will be supplied for this course, although you may wish to bring along your own choice of coloured yarn for the flower brooch project.
